Requirements for the 491 Skilled Regional Work Visa
The 491 Skilled Provisional Work Visa is a temporary visa which allows skilled migrants to undertake employment in Australia for a maximum period of four years. It is possible to apply for this visa if you are sponsored an Australian employer who has been unable to find suitable local candidates for the job vacancy. Listed are the additional requirements that all applicants must fulfill in order to be eligible for this program:
- Applicant should be less than 45 years of age.
- Should have the skills to perform a job role listed in the skilled occupation list.
- Should have good command over the English language.
- Must have scored the minimum score in the Points Test.
- Should be nominated by an Australian territory or region.
- Applicant should be good health and character.
